Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its debut season, and became America's Sweetheart. This win did more than propel her into the limelight however, it also secured the singer a multi-album contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. The singer has since released several Studio albums. The three albums made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. She is among the most popular artists who are emerging from American Idol. When she was successful, she tried out different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs with her personal feelings. She earned critical acclaim and several important awards for her creativity and singing prowess. In particular, she's won three times the Grammy Award three times. She also has been featured in film and television. She also wrote the kids' storybook River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
