Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. The Robertses' father was interested in theatre from an early stage. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both in and outside of campus. In 1953, when he joined the Air Force in Biloxi, he was seen together with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. Both married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after the couple left the US Air Force. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local Saturday morning children's television program Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they both funded. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
