
Allison Brooks Janney was born in the year 1959, on the 19th November. 2. She is an American actress. Her performances on screen and stage have been a hallmark of her professional career, which spanned thirty years. Janney has been awarded numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as an Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in the midst of nominations for two Tony Awards. She was born in Boston and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Janney earned a grant to study in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Following a string of minor and uncredited film and television appearances, Janney's breakthrough came with her role as C. J. Cregg in the NBC dramatic drama The West Wing (1999-2006) where she earned Four Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won her the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for the Best Guest Actress in for a Drama Series in the role of Margaret Scully's part on Masters of Sex. The most notable role she played was her performance as Bonnie Plunkett.
