tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24, 1979) is an American singer and actress best well-known for her character Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air from 1990 to 1996. Tyana Jones, her TV One character, was her first TV show. Ali also played the role of Roxanne in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Ali is a 6 year old girl who began her acting career on Sesame Street in 1985. The show also featured an appearance with jazz great Herbie Hancock who demonstrated his Fairlight CMI synthesizer with a sample Ali's vocal. Star Search also featured her in two episodes.
